Three examples of issues
which remain unexplained.
(briefly).
Among the unexplained points of the current theory, let me mention, the following ones, awaiting to resume them, along with other topics, in the course of the chapter.
- The values of attraction are too small to be effective.
- There is not two bulges (tide waves), each moving from a meridian to the successive one, westbound, and keeping in the same relation with the position of the Moon, but many tide waves, one for each tide basin. Moreover, they are not tied to the sub-lunar points.
- You are unable to explain correctly the different cadences of the ocean tides (diurnal, semi-diurnal), if you attribute them to the attraction.
